Hi, I’m Robin and I use this blog to keep track of my financial journey and those of my friends.
As of 2020, I’ve been a law student working full time while taking licensing exams to practise law in Canada. It’s been an interesting adventure moving to a new country and journeying towards financial independence.
The problem I believe we can solve…
You’re almost 30 or way past it.
You roll your eyes at videos of 25-year-olds from the F.I.R.E Movement (Financial Independence Retire Early) retiring early and sometimes think it’s too late for you. Life happened.
But, you know a thing or two about money. You know you should budget, save and invest but you cave in sometimes… (OK, a lot of times) Me too! I talk to myself in 3rd person whenever I’m pissed at myself for overspending.
Finding a community of friends on the same journey helps keep you accountable. It helped me.
My Mantra: “Must keep a leash on my purse.”
My friends and I come here to keep ourselves accountable, and we’re 30 or past it. It’s where we come when we need a push towards our financial and personal goals.
You can come here too; learn what worked and what didn’t. We’ll apply what we learned so you’ll know what works, what’s easy and what’s not.
Cheer our wins and leave this blog believing you can win too. Send us virtual Kleenexes when we fail, but leave with a lesson learned. Magic happens when we propel people.
We like to keep things fun and light, so you’ll see a lot of animation on this blog. Some of the drawings do not represent the true images of my friends.
